Popsicle Studios is a full-scale sound recording and production studio situated in the burgeoning suburb of Woodstock, Cape Town.

We cater to all manner of audio production and post-production, including final mix for broadcast, sound design, voice over recording, music composition, and tracking of live and electronic instrumentation, as well as mixing and mastering of music.

Over and above our recording facilities, we offer full-scale video production, specialising in the creation of music-related content.

Popsicle Studios also shares work space with Black Major, a progressive music agency that works with some of the best talent South Africa has to offer, making Popsicle Studios a hub of creativity within the local music landscape.

The Studio

Our facilities include a live room with its own designated control room, a production studio and a vocal booth. The studio has been designed in such a way that the space is modular, allowing for one session to take place across all 4 rooms.

Popsicle Studios also includes a boardroom, a fully furnished kitchen and lounge area, and a shared space with music agency Black Major.

Our Gear

We pride ourselves on having some of the best and most varied studio equipment in Cape Town, capable of handling a wide variety of recording situations and video production.
